Corey has always stressed that Jack needs to play baseball. I personally think Jack would make an excellent cheerleader but football and baseball are more 'manly'. So I've been encouraging Jack to play with the toddler t-ball toy he got for his birthday.
I tried to teach him how to throw the ball first. After a few weeks of throwing like a girl, he got the hang of it - well as much as a one year old can. I then tried to teach him how to hit the ball with the bat. We practiced and practiced. I finally let him try it by himself and well, the boy has a mind of his own.
