The first day of our trip consisted of the drive to Fort Collins. GoogleMaps said that to get from Rexburg to Fort Collins it will take you 9 hours. They obviously did not count on Blair's truck stalling at the bank 30 minutes after we were supossed to leave. Neither does it include potty breaks.
We planned to leave at 9 am but actually left Rexburg closer to 11. We made a stop in Jackson Hole, WY, at a dealer's shop to drop off some equipment.
This is Jack atr Jackson Hole Cycle in Wyoming.
He got very bored driving.
Then finally fell asleep.
We made it to the hotel around 11:30pm. Jack and I were the first to head up to the room. He had been sound asleep in the car. We walked through the lobby, down to the elevator, to the end of the hallway to room 544. He carried Leo, his lion, the entire way.
Every door we passed he would stop and point as if to say, "This one?" When I told him just a few more, he would keep walking.
He fell asleep as soon as we had his bed set up. He was such a trooper.
